Hi, I've searched for issues with the VSC light turning on (along with the check engine light and the slip indicator) and found a few useful threads. I do in fact have a loose gas cap which I need to get taken care of.

However, I have an additional issue which I believe is related as it happened at the same time. Whenever I turn my car off or turn it to ACC mode, there is a rough, grinding noise (I think it's the steering wheel motor) almost as if there isn't enough power to run the motor. Additionally, the rear lights (not the reverse lights) stay on even when the car is locked, doors are shut, and all the light switches are turned off.

I'm a little concerned my battery will run down, so any help would be appreciated asap. Thanks!
