From what I understand, leaving it just in D mode with neither snow/ect power on will yield the best results. Of course turning off traction control is advised also. "Pedal dancing" should probably come up quick if you do a search. Other than that, choose a nice cool and low humidity day to dyno

P.S

One more thing, what type of dyno is your shop going to use? Some dynos read a lot higher than others, and some the opposite.

Wrong, you're supposed to do dyno runs in snow mode.

It's also in the FAQ thread (stickied to the top of the forum), in the item that describes activating "dyno mode".

Snow mode allows you to go WOT at a lower rpm without the car downshifting on you. If it shifts during the WOT portion of the run your results are kinda useless.

Wouldn't you need the car in sport-shift mode so you can hold it in 4th? (as well as enabling snow mode, which has already been mentioned)

^^^ yes it must be in sport shift mode.

If your dyno comes out to be lower than what is "normal" it doesn't neccessarily mean that the car is bad, every dyno, matter of fact, every session of dyno pulls, can vary.

May I ask if there was a reason you are going to dyno your car? IMO the only reason you should dyno is to see if there is any increase in future mods you put on, basically to have a base point.
