My girlfriend has an 08 is250. She bent one of the rims to the point that it is unrepairable, but still driveable. I have been doing some searching but cannot find an answer to the following question. What colors of wheels does lexus offer from the factory. The wheel looks to have some type of graphite tint to it and I do not want to order the incorrect wheel off-line. the wheels are have 5 large spokes with two smaller spokes in each large spoke...10 spokes in total if you follow me. They are pretty standard, but just wanted to make sure that LExus only offers one color from the factory. any help is appreciated.

well there's chrome...the graphite one, and the plain-ish looking one lol not sure what it's called

Yeah, I think it is the graphite one, but was not sure that if that was the only color that they made other than chrome. Been looking online for replacement wheel, but nobody seems to specify other than chrome or silver...

I believe it was called "liquid graphite" or something like that in '08.

Does this mean that when they say chrome, they mean graphite? I guess could probably just call the dealership tomorrow, but I am impatient.

that is the only thing that i have seen on lexus' website so i am just confused... None of the rims i have seen for sale on ebay or websites mention the liquid graphite

The '06 & '07 were the more silvery-color. I don't know what they called the color. 2008 is the first year they brought out the liquid graphite.

If you're shopping on ebay, perhaps ask for the year of the car it came from?

Although you should be able to see just from the pictures if it's a pre-2008 wheel just by the color. The earlier color is more of a whitish-grey than carbon grey.

I believe that for the 08 models they came in the graphite finish and so if I am not mistaken the lexus wheels come in the regular silver, the graphite, and the chrome.

costa, you need a 2008 liquid graphite rim. Lexus used that color only on the 2008 18" wheel. The 2006 and 2007 wheels were bright silver.

All years (2006, 2007 and 2008) also had a chrome wheel which is very bright chrome available throught the dealer or online. Hope this helps.

06 and 07 had silver finish on both the 17" and 18". 08 had silver on the 17" and liquid graphite on the 18". Any chrome wheels on new cars were dealer-chromed add-ons.

Sooooooo.....Does anyone have a front one they want to sell??? The graphite ones seem to be pretty difficult to find.
