Looking at a wheel/tire setup for my is350. I'm stock height but I am going to lower it on KW V3's. I'm thinking I might just throw some swift springs (modest drop) on for now.

FRONT: 235/30/20
REAR: 255/30/20

FRONT-+25
REAR-+30

Tires are too wide to run those offsets...the front and rear will need more of a stretch or it will rub the rear bumper screw and tabs in the front...best bet run 225 53 20 and 245 35 20 tires shave headlight brackets up front bend in all tabs and shave also rear fender and where bumper meets body...trust me...

You'll rub. Thats 4mm more aggressive then me and I rub ocasionally.

As far as the advice above me, DO NOT run a 245 tire on a 10.5. Thats just insane and unsafe, especially if this is a daily driver.

yea I wouldnt run a 245 on a 10.5

Theres 255 and 265 in between 245 and 275. No reason to stretch that much, especially when I have my 18 month old daughter in the car daily and my girl drives the work 3-4 days a week.

yeah, some people run some crazy insane stretches for a look, at the same time taking their life in their hands.

I would pass on the deal honestly, a bit tooo aggressive for the IS, unless you want to start pulling and shaving, basically majory fender work.

Even with only a 255 in the back, you still think I'd rub?

hey rpm steve.. i dont know what look yur trying to achieve.. If the vossens are the wheels yu want then i'd run a 275-30-20 in the rear and a 235-30-20 in the front.. thats what i have on mine. the offsets are +45 in the rear and +38 in the front i believe. i only rub when i put people in the back. but once i shave my rear fenders, i'll be fine.

20x10.5 +30 you will need to cut and run a 255/30/20

I have cut fenders and was maxed out on tein SS with these specs and still rubbed on bumps.

As for the front GOOD LUCK running a 20x9 +25 you got the tire size right, but that offset will ruin your fenders no matter how moderate your drop is.

Actually the front isn't too bad. I'm currently running 19x9 +28 with a 235 tire. No rub. I did extensive fender well mods (loads, and I mean loads of heat gunning, also cutting and bend up that tab that connects the bumper & fender).

It can be done with no rubbing

Dude i thought he wants to get 20's?? so a 225 or 235/35/20 with a low offset like that he will gurantee rub or drive like a 4x4. btw not all stretch tires are unsafe.. My rears are stretched and they drive really good.^^^... a 255 in the rears are perfect and give you that aggressive look in the rears. your fitments are nice, but the fronts are too aggressive for any clearance if you wanna drive low.

I think you can fit it easy with some fender modding (rolling/shaving, pulling, banging, hitting, ripping) my next set up is 19x9.5+18 225/35 and 19x10.5+24 245/35. Im running those tires right now. Yes, its a stretch but honestly it doesnt look that aggressive.

F that!!

I'll go with 45 and 38 offsets like I originally planned
