I would be extremely careful when removing the tapes. Masking tape can take off body paint where there is a weak spot (eg: an untouched-up area or an already touched-up area).

Also, the glue on the tape changes characteristics when reacting to heat. There is probably not much sun these few days but there is still a chance the body of your car gets warm since it is SGM.

I also recommend that you remove the tapes right away once you arrive in Vegas. The longer the tape is on the car, the riskier it is.

Otherwise, this is a cool looking car.

painter tape should not hurt your car especially if its factory paint. and im pretty sure your going to do your mirrors like everyone else. my friend put blue painter tape on his black s2k and the two tone look so nice

hahaha i dont know i just started doing it and it just ended it that way. i got the delicate one that has weaker adhesive than the regular painters tape. i would not put masking tape on my car trust me. and the car will be parked in the structure most of the time. lol damn that is-f must've taken a long *** time to do! my roll cost me 9 dollars so i'm sure that is-f would've been like 80-90 dollars at least

Sounds goofy to me, it's a damn car, not a priceless work of art. If you are concerned get a clear bra, but driving around with painter's tape looks whack, imo. If I saw that on the road my wife and I would have some good fun with the guy behind the wheel. Whatever.
