End of Lease Return
I moved across country with my IS250.
The lease is coming up and I have to return it.
Does anyone know if I can return it to the local dealership or do I have to find a way to send it back to where I originally got it?
Any help, thx.

it should be returnable to any lexus dealership. the lease isnt specified to one dealer. but id ask a local dealer where you're at now, just to clarify. it would really be lame to have to drive all the way back to the other side of the country just to return a car that was leased.

hey people, it's not a matter of laziness.
I like to research the situation so that I have some leverage when I do contact the dealer.
When I bought the car, it had the OEM HKS exhausts, and was supposed to have the rear ground effects. Well after researching and demonstrating with pics from these forums, I was able to demonstrate to the dealer the error of their ways. They compensated me with full ground fx.
So please don't judge me too harshly, and thanks for any advice.

i love how people would much rather just ask questions they are simply too lazy to figure out. come on, just sit and think for two minutes and you have your answer. calling would have taken less time and your question would have been answered immediately. waste of electricity and bandwith

You may return it to any Lexus dealer. It doesn't have to be where you bought it from.

The only wasted post was yours. I actually hate how people project their impatience on others. This is the PERFECT place to ask that type of question. What do you think the function of an enthusiast forum is? Sharing EXPERIENCES and INFORMATION.
You can turn the car in to any dealer, as noted by someone else, your agreement is with Lexus, not a particular dealer.
Good luck

I believe in most cases there is a third party that does the post lease inspection before the car is turned into the dealer. In some cases the car actually delivered to a third party not the dealer.

Point out the ignorance and I'll be glad to save it.
Since you MISSED the point, I'm happy to state it again.
"An enthusiast forum is a GREAT place to ask questions and get answers".
Your turn...but, try and be less ignorant -

Hey! You miss understood... I was agreeing with you! "USE20ISF" had a crappy attitude in his post. I've posted question before with the same type of negative responses... It sucks. I actually liked your response.
