Springs.

The stock sub in this car isn't terrible or anything, but a little more bass really make that much of a difference? Depends on your personal taste, I guess.

Springs you will feel everytime you go around a corner, and make a huge difference in improved handling, and makes the car look better as well.

if you have to ask others whether you should get springs or subs first, you shouldn't be thinking about either. there's asking for advice about what you already have, and asking for advice about what you should get. with all due respect, i'm simply not confident that you can critically think for yourself if you need others to decide for you what you should get for your 2is. modding is not - and should not be - a popularity contest.

seriously, it's your money; spend it which ever way you deem appropriate/necessary. after you do, THEN come back and show off the results.

that's my $0.02. thanks for reading.

sorry OP - STUPID THREAD!

why ask us? what you need to do is ask YOURSELF!

whats more important to YOU! having a dropped better looking car? or having some thump n' bass to your jam?

What do YOU want more? You'll get 100 comments of what others think is more important, but its your car and your money!

So I ask you, whats more important to you? Think about it for a minute and you'll have your answer.

i did subs first.. but.. id recommend the springs first as its more complicated to install then a sub.. ..get that out of the way.. so you know you have made progress.. the stock 2is system is decent enough.. but i like my music at it's absolute clearest with a robust bass line.... however people would rather see a slammed lex then a loud rattling one? see its warm where you live so the window would be down and the block can hear your music...get the springs first dude.

Wait and be patient. Then save up $$$ and get both or get coils and subs.
