i think you can just get an extension and run the wires out of the bottom

i'm not sure what that adapter is... is it just a dock/cradle? if you had a vaistech, does that not mean you don't even need the liquidaux?

I'm planning to do this with my Vaistech unit, but waiting for an iPhone 4 dock to come out.

You shouldnt need a seperate one for iphone 4. My diy cradle which is constructed with OEM apple AV cable works fine with my iphone 4 (cradle pictures below). You can see details of my cradle on the
