Synthetic oil Factory fill for 2010
I was at my local toyota dealer who also services Lexus since the next close by dealer is 45 minutes away. Anyway, I asked how much an oil change was for my IS250 and the service tech says $39.95, but when I told him I had a 2010, he said that the 2010 Lexus' come with synthetic oil from the factory and they have to put synthetic in for $69.95. So was this guy pulling the BS move on me?

better off getting synthetic anyways. 1 change a year instead of 2, save 10 bucks and a trip to the dealer.

$69 for synthetic is def a good deal. Call your local Lexus dealership ask. At my Lexus dealership it cost around 130 for full synthetic.
You should just buy your own synthetic oil and bring it with you to Toyota. This is what I currently do.

$69.95 is probably a blended oil. The first change should be FREE!

OP... look on your oil cap and see what it says. It will tell you what oil came in the car
