hi guys,
just picked up an 06 IS350 with 40k miles on it with all options. i've been reading up on the TSBs and was wondering if you guys recommend me taking it into the dealer for services such as squeaky brakes, loose rear view mirror, rattling dashboard and of course all the recalls. I believe I'm still under the factory warranty since the car was first purchased in March of 2006 as per carfax. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Bo

i'm not sure they did or didn't but it seems as though they didn't...i still hear the rattling noise and have all the symptoms...maybe they did the recalls but i guess i won't know until i take it to the dealer...hopefully the dealer doesn't give me any problems with these TSBs. thanks

Take it in... I just got my car back today from the 35k service and the dealership took care of the rattling dash, squeaking brakes and rear view mirror... along with the service and some other things heh.

Have you tried registering on Lexus's website and entering the vehicles VIN. I bought an 06' 350 last July. First thing I did was go onto Lexus's website which pulled up a full history for the vehicle showing all work Lexus had done. Luckily the previous owner had done all the TSB's (except the dvd map update) and I could see each service listed.

thanks guys, didn't even know that i could do that on the lexus site...looks like they did the fuel pipe recalls and had some brake work done at 18k miles but my brakes are still pretty squeaky so maybe i can get them to do that under warranty...they didn't do anything for the rattling dash or loose rear view mirror though but the car was brought in for service every 5k miles to Lexus of Englewood in NJ which is a pretty good sign.
