I'm considering doing a custom DIY on either the fog units or the fog inserts. I want to do a sequence of multiple LEDs next to each other like those LED strip lights you get.
The problem with the LED strip lights you can buy online is that they look horrible because of the following factors:
This is why i want to get individual LEDs but very good quality and high density ones. I need some advice as to what kind i can get.
Does anyone know what kind of LED's the cars that come with LED DRL strip lights use? They look much bigger than ordinary LEDs that are out there
any advice and opinions would be very much appreciated.
thanks

- LED's on them are just too small
- When you look at them from a distance it just looks a mess and doesnt really look like individual LEDs stacked next to each other
- The density of those LEDs are also very bad.
- The LED's start burning out randomly and it looks horrible because you see big gaps between LED's

well how about you guys get creative and bake the head light housing to open it up, stick the strip in and make it flush. That way once your reassemble to and glue it with the wiring it will look truly amazing!

Same here. They look very weird with the HID and fog lights on like that. I have to admit though that it looks nice by itself without the headlight and fogs on. IMO, I'm not really feeling it on any of the IS's.
