Default Window Trim

Im looking to get my chrome window trim done in black but i was wondering what you though about painting?

I know vinyl is easy and the cheaper route but i head the ISx50 trim is a pain in the *** to do.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

If you search the name IS250smoke you will see pictures of his vynal wrapped window trim.. yes it is a pain in the *** to do but it looks great and depending on where you get it done some shops will warranty it if the vynal ever peels back, bubbles, shrinks etc. I say go for it

I think gloss looks the best especially if your roof is gloss black (which I believe I saw in another thread it is) where in cali are you located?

Search the name IS250smoke and there is a thread called "my car so far". You can see pictures there.

^I would say wrapping it is a better alternative just because if you don't want it, you can just peel it off and the chrome will still be there. I have my front grill wrapped in matte vinyl and my window pillars wrapped in CF. But I guess if you go the paint route, they won't chip as much since they're on the side not the front of the car.
