Everyone has different taste, doesn't mean they are haters. IMO it was us "high class car owners" who for the past 10 years been saying shopping cart handles belong on hondas.
I am sure that BMW is gonna look SICKK once its done, I know the current state is under construction. kinda like growing out your hair, there is always the ugly stage

Hope fully haha, making some progress
I cant wait either haha
No they are not. In the end we decided to go with metal flares and keep oem line to keep a more subtle and classy look.
I hope so!
Thank you!

Main goal of the flares is to eliminate some camber while still being able to tuck rim without any issue scratching and to keep a flush stance while at driving height i.e. the perfect stance for my situation. We did a quick rendering of how a wide body IS might look, and I decided to limit it to flares similar to what nmPeter did on his Jade metallic IS. To be honest I thought about a wheel change as-well (wider) but imo 20x9.5 20x10.5 look perfect on the IS and anything wider may look a little too outrageous for my style. Things instore for the near future, will most likely be a wheel change, same spec though, gotta see what Vip Modular wheel I want to run next , and a complete color change. Color change was scheduled to happen before Sema, but with the amount of time i have before the show, it doesn't look plausible.
Shouts to Sunny over at Franklin Autobody & 515 Autobody for making everything possible, as well as Sonicms for taking care of last minute installs
Will keep ya guys updated as things progress.
