I learned a lot after two days of lapping. That picture was taken day one. That R8 left me in the dust on the following straight. Then again, what 400hp+ car wouldn't. On day two, I was out driving and passed an Evo X, RS4, 335xi, S4's and Caymen only because their skill level was lower. Slower cars/drivers are required to let faster vehicles pass on the two straights. Although I will say that the IS 350 will keep up 2010+ S4's just fine including the straights. Those things are torque monsters starting at 2k rpm. When it comes down to it, if you can maintain a good line and shave time off those twisties, you're going to catch up to cars that should be faster than you. In my case, I was catching up to a modified M6 in the turns and he'd leave me behind in the straights.
Although I preferred the meisters... this is super sick shot!

So I hit a huge dip on 87 (worst freeway in SJ)
So I guess the PSS is "fatter" than the PS2?? Never had a problem with my PS2s... same size, 235/35/19...
I do have a theory though - I had my spring re-adjusted on my passenger side because it wasn't sitting right, and when it was re-installed it was sitting higher than before, which, if my logic is correct, caused my drivers side (In the picture) to sit lower than normal. This in turn lowered my clearance enough for my tire to rub into the bumper tab.... a few days later they are both even, so hopefully this is the end of that.
Note- this didn't happen on the passenger side.
