The only thing that matters is if they work and the owner is happy with them. I prefer the look of the oem myself but a few years ago I would have probably bought something like these too.
To be honest, this actually doesn't look bad compared to all the other aftermarket LED's i've seen ppl done on there ISx50.. But i would've still went with OEM led's..
I think next should be coilovers or springs before wheels.. But still looks good..
everyone says that, but if you get coils first, and then wheels, chances are you'll need to readjust coils after wheels are on. whereas if wheel first then coil, you'll have a better idea of how much lower you can be and eliminate need for readjustment?
Halo LED rings have been so bastardized on ebay parts that, IN MY OPINION, they look tacky. The LED strip along the bottom doesn't look too bad for non-OEM. Just my .02 especially since your car looks super clean to begin with. The darker housings do flow well with the silver tho!

Orr just do them at the same time!
Those headlights aren't something I'd like on my car, mainly because of the halo rings. If it were me, I would have went with CCFL rings instead, like PlacidBoi's (I think?) lights, or just blackhoused them and added the LED strip.
With that being said, the LED strips look really good, and it definitely looks like a quality made set of custom headlights.
I had a guy do them for about 800. Led strips alone were 400. I had him paint the inside too. He had done quite a few like that and people who had them said they liked them so I went for it. I'm not regretting because I tried something different and didn't do it the cheap way. Yeah it may be too much for some people but I think it looks great and unique. I'm sorry I didn't want to buy overpriced Lexus headlights.
800 is way over priced. U coulda baked and blacked out the housing within an hour with a can of spray paint for $4. Those leds cost less than 50 probably. For 800 I wouldve just saved a few more for oem. Regardless as long as you're happy that's all that matters
Bambino that looks like the easton mall garage. Am I right? I'm over in Dublin. Lookin good theres only 3 other guys here I know in columbus that have moded 2IS's. We all should link up sometime. I'm doing some major body work on my car right now. I should be done and ready next week or so
Yeah it is in the new parking garage at easton, but yeah it sounds good im just starting to work on my is so it will be great to see other people and what are they currently doing.

Thank you for the suggestions, but i agree about getting the wheels first in order for me to see how low i want to go, although i been thinking on just getting my wheels painted in powder coat black.

BTW I used to have the same kit as you on my 2007 IS that got totaled in Jan due to a uninsured driver over on morse rd.
Mind me asking where you got your kit painted? I'm doing the body work on my car myself but I no longer have access to a paint booth. I should have everything ready to paint by next week so I need to find a legit shop around here. Starfire Pearl is a hard color to match.

Yeah I don't disagree with you but I didn't get cheap rings or anything like that, I got quality parts and had someone try something different instead of going oem. They look good at night and I'm happy that Ye daytime running lights don't come on anymore. I also like that when I use my turn signal they turn amber. But I can see what you are saying.

True, but it's all self preferences. Even before putting on such a aggressive body kit, I would've went with nice drop and wheels first. I wouldn't be able to stand having a full body kit with 5 finger gaps in between the tires and fender even if it's only for couple weeks..
just got my body lip kit painted and installed ... next new rims!
Nice car Bambino, welcome to the club, that kit look a little aggressive on those 4X4 wheels, just kidding, it need to drop and some nice wheels on and the Wald trunk lip is must to complete the look man, after all that your would look good
