hey ppl i found out that my car has $13,000.00 in damages and i found out that its worth by the book $18,000 for being a 2006 with 80k miles. Now I just have to wait for the insurance to go and look at it and see what they say.

Your car might be worth even more, because of the mods you have. If they call it a total loss, you want the most for it. Be prepared to show your receipts.

Don't forget that it's the other guy's insurance that is paying it out. They want to pay as little as possible.

even though its a hit and run a lot of info in that article he can still use. insurance companies dont like to pay.
