-turn the car off, heard some knocking sounds coming from underneath the car, is that normal?
^ Hasn't happened to me since I'm in California, but cold weather can cause those kinds of sounds as the metal along the exhaust path rapidly cools/contracts.

Man, my car is getting old . 30K in 25 months… For some reason, my maintenance display is telling me to replace my ATF. Don’t we have lifetime transmission fluid in a sealed system?
OP, just ignore it. The messages on the nav screen can be set by the user in the maintenance section as reminders. I would bet that the dealer set that "reminder" for you.
