haha yea good luck with that. The car washes here are in government owned gas stations. "Enoc", the dubai owned company, for example, is a global energy company that has diversifed from crude oil refinery and Lpg processing to real estate shipping and tons of other serivices. Dubai also got ridiculously cheap labor here.

The wash goes as this:
1 guy washes ur car, 4 guys wipe it down. @ 3 washing statoins per gas station your looking at 15 dudes working at one time on a single shift. Assume 4 shifts thats 60 employes. schits damn near slavery too w the coniditions those guys work in. Car washes are cheap on the consumer too. we pay around $9.50 for a body wash, and $ 12 for a full wash (like in rashoods pic were they wash the undercariage, engine bay etc.
To do this in the states and b profitable, ur gonna have to charge an arm and a leg.

A business like this requires a ton of capital. They make a killing here only because you got car washes like in 75% of the gas stations in Dubai. The gov owns all the gas stations and they make close to 80 percent profit off the gas. with that said i effin LOVE the car washes here. makes life easier

On a side note, if u guys do want to start a business, we have car washes in all the malls. They use portable waterless car wash devices to wash the cars. Doesnt make a mess as no water is used. Does a fairly decent job.

^^^ O i was thinking more like a do-it-yourself carwash that has a lift you can use. For example, the ones where you just put in quarters to use the power washer, and when your done you lower your car back down and dry it yourself.

you know what, thats not a bad idea at all. you guys need somehting like that, and im surprised it doesnt exist (maybe it does, im only familiar w the north east so not sure if it exists else were)
