What about getting custom brackets to fit the rails and whatever seats you want?

Got hit in the parking lot on Black Friday!! as you can see my Wald spoiler is severely cracked on the top end of it...Now my question is would you guys suggest spend the money on labor to have the (molded) wald spoiler removed from the trunk to replace it with a new one? Or am I just better off re-fiberglassing that whole top end of it and call it a day.Another thing came to mind which is buying a new trunk& spoiler and having the whole process done again..This is all being paid for by the other parties insurance so any suggestions would help

ps:sorry for some run on sentences, Im doing this over my iphone

If they are paying definitely new everything and having the process redone. But judging by the damage you prob can refiberglass the spoiler but there may be cracks and other damages underneath which could eventually crack more due to cold weather etc... How did they even hit the top of ur trunk? Were they driving a monster truck?

yeah it was one of those 4X4 2011 Chevy Silverado...Your right though best bet is replacing everything to start all over again, only trouble is I will probably back and forth with insurance since its really doubtful that replacing the trunk would be an option since hardly any damage was really made other then underneath my plates, spoiler and rear bumper will be replaced for sure

I'd go ahead and mold it without a doubt.

that is true but make sure you clearly explain to them the process u had went through to mold the spoiler to begin with. U did have it molded before right? looks like it from the pics. it appears so. Heres pics of mine while I was molding it feel free to show them if you need pictures to explain to them what had to be done and what damages may be underneath. http://public.fotki.com/remydee/the-is-journal/
hope everything works out in your favor that really sucks that had to happen.
