Long as that **** is not all the way to the right (you will feel a click - "bright" setting) the dimming feature will still work.

it will definately be brighter than the green and create more "glare". So i dont know why someone who doesnt even have it done would tell you otherwise. Yes, you can manually dim it down using the ****, but at normal brightness at night (right before the click) or any other setting, it is brighter than the greens for sure. "Too bright for driver at night?"... its not THAT bright, but its definately a change that u need to adjust to.

Adding to what Jonny said, the dimming switch behaves a little differently after the LED dash swap, whereby you have to turn the dimness **** to halfway before it actually starts affecting the brightness. At least that's how it works in my car.

^ Same here. I only really realize the dim, or fade if you will, if you start with the **** completely off and go toward full brightness. During the night you can slowly see the lights get brighter and get a better visual of the fade.

DIY is cheaper, you can get LEDS from oznium all for under $50. However if you have someone do it that is what the usual charge would be.
Well of course if the **** isn't all the way right that feature will work. But as standard, the bulbs itself will not auto dim. I've driven Tim's 350 and F both with the led dash and never notice the dimming even at night.
Yes they do! Example - you are driving with headlights on - in the evening - still some light out, your interior lights will be on bright. If you go under an overpass, though a tunnel, or enter a darker area, they will dim according to light outside. There is also a **** to the left ofthe steering wheel where you can do it manually...
