I never undestand why people want to get rid of TPMS sensors just because of new wheels. Sure many aftermarket wheels won't accept the sensors as they were in the OE wheels. There are adaptors, bands, etc that keeps the sensors in the wheels, keep you informed when you have a low tire, potentially saving buying a new one(s). Not to mention you run a low profile tire flat you could also mess up a wheel.

In my case I don't like the fact that Lexus just has a generic set up to tell you that you have low preasure on one of the wheels. Drive the car for two minutes and you'll know if you have a wonky tire. I have been driving for over twenty years now and I think I can manage without it, just like the traction control it's great technology but in the end it's another toy. I can see how someone can make the argument for all the stuff but at the end of the day your ability to be aware of your suroundings and others on the road will pay off huge in any situation. No rage here just my two cents.........

Cheers,..... Edz
