The Glendale emblem really is ugly. When the woman's mom bought her ES the first time she came over I went out and took it off. Looks much better now

For new cars, I tell them up front I do not want their logo on my car. I refused to pick up my last car cause they put the sticker on. So they had someone stay late to remove it.

On my used SUV, I just used a hair dryer to remove the sticker.

I don't mind the plate frame with their name on it if they provide it free, but any decals are just wrong.

If you want it done right, do it yourself. It's no big deal. Only you have the best interests of your car at heart. Don't let a dealer fumble around with your car's finish.

The dealer in UAE only have a sticker on the rear window, when I purchased the car I told them to remove it.

I get pissed when people tint their cars and the sticker is stuck inside the tint lol.

I told hem not to put it on the dealer sticker or my drill hole and mount my front plate when I ordered my car.

Yes front plates are mandatory where I live. But I just zip tied it to my lower mesh. Now I have the tow hook mount.

Default Lexus of Glendale Emblem

Obviously, I can't speak for any of the other dealers, but I would like to make sure that everyone knows that our emblems are 100% up to the guest's discretion. We will remove them before or after delivery with no questions asked.

This is definitely Marketing 101 and we love our name being out there for people to see. For that reason, we do make sure that the guests who keep the emblem on get some benefit for it! We created the Elite Club, where a guest who has that emblem on the vehicle gets free weekly car washes, a detail on their birthday, free gas on some of the services, etc.

We definitely understand those who don't want the emblem and will gladly take it off, though.

Hope this helps with at least Lexus of Glendale's thoughts and policies re: an emblem.

Thanks for letting me jump in,
Shawn
