Default Changing seatbelts.

Hey everyone, so I've been having this problem with my jeans bleeding onto my seatbelts and such...I was thinking about changing my beige seatbelts to black and wondered has anyone ever done it before? I have not ask the dealer yet, I will probably check later on. Would it even be possible to do? Thanks.

It's possible. You'll just need to find a diagram on removing them. And buy the seatbelts..

Disconnect your battery first, you don't want any issues with the airbags.

I'm going to see how much the seatbelts cost, hopefully not too much.

Might be a can of worms with all the sensors, tensioning, and safety links. I wouldn't mess with it.

Keep us posted, but I'll think you'll be surprised at the price.

And I agree with the previous poster, with all the tensioners, sensors, and other bits and pieces of the restraint system I don't think I would mess with it.

MSRP is $230.81 each. You sure you want to do this?

My interior is beige and black =)

Just found out $430 a pop for my car!!! And for the back it's about $270 each. The sales guy told me each seat belt has a sealed unit that will have to be completely removed...I guess it's a no go =(

Tommy- Yes it was from dealer. It has to be because it's specially programmed.

Ernest- I know but omg, $1000 plus for seatbelts?? I rather get my
wheels first haha.

Do you have pre-collision? If you don't, they're <$200 for the fronts and rear sides, and just a little over $100 for the center rear. Still not cheap for just a color change.
