Default Front Defroster Blinking at Start-Up

Hey guys, had a question. I have a 2008 IS250 and my front defroster blinks when I start the car. Happens for a about 5-10 seconds and then I can control the climate and fan speed in the car. During the 5-10 seconds its blinking I can't do anything with the climate system and the air is shut off.

I am trying to figure what could cause this? Is it worth taking back to the dealer under warranty? It just started happening. The are has a little over 20,000 miles. Any help would be appreciated.

I had removed the radio / climate control panel from the car to insulate the plastic around it from creaking -- I disconnected the battery, and unplugged all electrical connectors. When I assembled everything back together, I noticed the blinking defrost light the first time I powered on the car. Maybe it means the system was initializing or something? Since the first time, no problems whatsoever. Did you do anything like this? Maybe you have a loose connection somewhere?

And YES, if you have any problem -- especially with the climate system it is definitely worth taking it in for repairs. If you do this, please follow up and let us know if there was a problem.
