Question about rearview mirror TSB (IS-C mirror)
For those that have gotten the TSB done and have received the 2010 IS-C mirror, did they replace just the mirror itself or did they replace the entire assembly?
I found the mirror Lexus is using in the IS-C, and I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on one because my car is out of warranty, but I'm wondering what all got replaced, if anything, besides the mirror itself. Here is the link to the mirror: http://www.brandnewauto.com/AUTO-DIM...-p6053591.html
Does anyone know if these are plug in play, or is there more to it than that?

FOR THE RECORD: The 2010 IS-C mirror is the same as the sedan. Someone on CL posted otherwise, but I personally had an 06 sedan, and got the TSIB mirror which looked the same as stock (and still rattled, although not as much).
I now have an IS-C, and it has the same mirror as my 06 sedan had. However, it does not rattle, even with the top down.
But, the mirror itself is not the one with the front homelink buttons like someone posted on CL months ago. My mirror on my IS-C looks identical to the one from the sedan. Compass display "hidden" behind the glass and bottom homelink buttons.

According to a thread over on my.is, someone received the mirror I linked above when they brought in their IS for the TSB. If that's not the IS-C mirror, or the updated Sedan mirror you're talking about, what is it?
The thread is here: http://my.is/forums/f136/vibrating-r...f-open-393818/
(Hopefully linking to another board is cool here)

All I can tell you is that my ISC has the same mirror as my old sedan. And, a couple on ebay have the same mirror as the sedan as well.
I'm wondering how many (if any) ISC's have that mirror with the push buttons on the face. Or, if that was just a temporary mirror that lexus put out or something????

When my mirror was replaced, I got the newer Gentex model. I was told that this is the TSIB mirror to fix the solution of rattling. So far not a rattle, and you have to ask them for this one. Some dealers are dumb and don't know and just order part based on VIN, in which you get the same old crap.

I have a Regular IS250 2009 not the C version in Sweden, and the Swedish Lexus company dosent change our mirros!!!
I have been fighting with them since i recived my IS last year! and still nothing ..
Dont understand why Lexus dosnt fix this damn problem with all the cars!??
The smallest service in Sweden costs over 450$ wich is much more cheeper than a 299$mirror !! :s
