I don't think that's possible.

^ok Thanks! If it matters I'm doing the "normal" way - tapping the light green/silver dots wire and the white wire and running them to the cabin.

This is the most important mod for the people who have 2011 headlights. I'm glad there's no modification required to do this mod (Middle East spec).

There is a way to do it with the stock switch in the stalk, you just need to tap into the fog wire before it gets multiplexed in the wiper switch. When looking for any pure signals for lighting, you need to get to them before they have a chance to be digitized. There is a pure fog light wire in the steering column between the headlight switch and foglight switch, that is where you need to tap in to use it to control anything.

I have not done this, but I'm sure I could.

Many other countries (including Japan) do not have rules like we do about fogs only being on with low beams, Japanese-spec cars have independent fog lights usually.

I'm not going to do it on my car, so while I could give you instructions to do it, it's not as easy to explain what to do if you've never done it yourself, haha.

Just saying, get into the column, tap into the fog wire between the headlight switch and the wiper switch, and use that to trigger the fog lights.

Pin 3 and 4 on the headlight switch are the fog light switch, wire colours are black and light blue.

Jeff

I'm confused. How do you turn on your fogs? Do you have to have your lowbeams on at the same time?
