Hahaha, true. It just baffles me that sewell wants $12 for shipping... I can't believe it. I'd rather get the item 2 weeks from now and save on the shipping then spend $12 and get it in 5 days. LOL

Any time I order from Sewell I make sure to bundle in some other stuff as well. Oil/air filters, gaskets, spark plugs (just hit 50k miles so that'll be next purchase for when the time comes to do 60k service), etc... It makes the shipping cost seem more reasonable.

 

installed mine. it just gives a more balanced feel. there is a difference between heavier and stiffer. its definately heavier but in response the bumps that move your body side your wheel isnt flopping around as much.
It makes the steering wheel feel like it is actually turning a car that weighs 3600 lbs not an elantra that weighs 2000 when flooded.
i went back road drifting and its just more confident.... to me at least i don't get the feeling like i'm over steering with the vsc off on a hard turn .
worth the $30 bucks!!! cheapest lexus "mod" ever... now for the plugs tomorrow

i ordered mine the other day and just got it installed, for my surprise I had no damper on my vehicle at all so i had nothing to replace I just installed the one I ordered. my car is an 07 is250 rwd is that normal or the previous owner may had it remove or something I already check the carfax and is all good no records at all.

To my knowledge our cars don't come from the factory with it. Only the IS F comes with it. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

 

Our cars never came with a damper, their stock on the ISF thou which is why we've been doing this mod... my question to you is, you thought you were gonna replace yours? with... a different one?

Lol, i guess i haven't read the full thread ,I saw a picture of two different dampers on the thread one biger than the other and I asume thats why everyone was replacing the damper the biger the more stiffer the steering . Upssssss! Ok well im glad I got it then lets see how it feels.

 

Well I just test drove the car and it feels very good I do notice inprovement on handling ,Im lowered on f sport springs with stock shocks and both sways.

 

Sure hope so if not oh well LOL
