lol usually you get a discount for buying things as a "kit" or together! Thanks for pointing that out.

Honestly, I ordered the $26 steering damper kit even though I knew it was slightly cheaper to add them separately. I'm not going to complain about $1.18. I ordered it this with my F-Sport sway bars and intake. Sewell still best prices around

You need to work out on those forearms more often!

just wanted to post my experience with the steering damper. i installed this thing yesterday; it was a pretty easy installs specially with the pictures provided . i haven't taken the car to the highway yet (apparently you'll notice the biggest difference there) but so far i love it. the steering is definitely tighter and a bit heavier. it gives the steering a sporty feeling similar to what i had in my 02 bmw 330ci. this is a must for anyone with an IS. you cant go wrong for 26 bucks from sewell. before i kinda hated the steering feel cause it was too soft but now its definitely sportier. you wont regret this little mod, lexus should install this on all factory ISs.

After 3 Weeks... I've noticed a slight improvement compared to stock. Keep in mind i'm on stock suspension & stock wheels. I don't see how owners of aftermarket suspension & tires will notice a diff.

Seem the mod works best for non stock set ups and not really worth the effort for stock set ups.
Of course there's always the 'must have mod' for some on the stock set up and then the placebo effect.

Yea, love the steering damper. Such a cheap, easy and inexpensive mod. Definately makes the steering feel more sporty.

does l-tunedparts.com have this available? or even the dealership? I know it's a low price and don't mind it all, but if we can get this at the dealer for 36 bucks or l-tunedparts.com for 26 with the CL discount, tax here in CA is 8.75%, it would cost me 28 out the door and i have it right there and I can just have it installed same day lol. I'm impatient.

Instead of asking questions and waiting for replies, you could have ordered it from Sewell and it would already be in the mail! Try calling the other vendors, its not on their websites.

LoL I want it quicker!! If oter vendors have it, even if I sat around for 3 days and found out a local vendor has it, id still have it quicker! Btw, it's 26 on sewell, of the local vendor matches I'd actually be saving 6 bucks. This is where being impatient wins

Ha! They have it local. Instead of a week and 6 bucks extra, it's cheaper and right near me. Hello! LoL
