omg i just drove to school in the rain and i must say this is the best mod anyone can do to their IS

the steering has almost no jitter anymore going over bumps or uneven surface
the steering feels tight and solid this is how the car should have came out from factory
all my complaints about the steering of the IS is gone ... its just THAT good

if you haven't done this mod yet
DO IT!

i ordered mine from lexus of westminster. Kerry, the person who helped me, said i was the first one to order one, so he put in a few more orders along with mine. So if your close to lexus of westminster, give them a call, they should have extra in stock right now.

my friend who didn't know i installed the damper.... realized that steering was a little different.. less vibrations and a little heavier... the heavier feel is not 100% noticeable depending on how sensitive you are

its definately an improvement. but now after a week of driving with the damper, i've gotten used to it and can no longer feel it haha. its just like upgrading to a faster car, at first it feels really fast, but once you get used to it you think its normal.

I just ordered it

So is it just that one screw (torx 30) to open up the steering wheel? Just unscrew and pull the front part off?

If you're retarded like me and didn't know how to take off the airbag connectors, you need to pop out the yellow tabs in the middle. The easiest way is to slide a flathead from where the wire goes in. Then wiggle it up and it'll disconnect.

You have to disconnect the airbag? I thought you could just slide it in... no?
