Steering Damper?

Ok so I got my steering damper installed this afternoon and took it for a quick ride. My initial impressions are good. I never really disliked my steering feel before...but I can tell a nice difference. It feels more solid, not floating like some people described without. I was worried the extra weight would make it more resistant when turning, like a honda feel, however I am happy to say it didn't at all. All in all it is a hard feeling to describe. For 30 bucks you really can't go wrong giving this a try!

Looks like everyone got theirs from Sewell today. I just installed it and it was easy enough. I hit one snag during the installation in that one of the threads wasn't fully tapped and the screw needed an extra washer behind it to allow it to clamp down on the steering damper.
One tip to anyone attempting this:
Use a credit card to remove the covers on the side of the steering wheel. Luckily I learned this the hard way on a much cheaper car, but a screwdriver will scratch that plastic really badly.
As far as my impressions, to my surprise, the difference is quite significant. I could tell a big difference the first time I turned my steering wheel pulling out of my parking spot. My immediate reaction wasn't "this feels much better" as much as it was "this is strange". Not because I didn't like the way the steering feels, but because I'm so used to the way my car feels after 2.5 years of ownership.
I've long wished the steering was heavier on the car, and I think over time I will be very pleased with the new feel of it. The bumps on the road feel less harsh and the car is less likely to lose its composure as the steering wheel's larger inertia prevents it from being twitchy as the car passes over rough terrain.

Ordered from Sewell yesterday and will arrive by Friday. I have no issues with the current feel of the steering wheel, but all these reviews just makes me want to spend the money on this cheap mod.
