I noticed my 6000k low beams look purple? Is that because of the oem projector? My fogs are 6000k and there diamond white. It doesn't bug me, but I was just wondering why

part of your issue is the fact that the oem HID's use projectors, while the fogs use reflectors. that will contribute to a slight variation in the color temperature, but not enough to go from blue-ish white to purple.
the other part is with the D4S bulbs themselves. high-quality bulbs have a color temperature output consistent with their rating. obviously, low-quality bulbs will not.
while it may not bug you now, if you are running low-quality bulbs, you may experience premature failure. over a longer period of time, the money you spend buying multiple sets of cheap, inferior-quality bulbs (due to premature failure) will be more expensive than buying one set of high-quality bulbs.
i bought a pair of low beam 12k from hidextra.com and installed onto my car. 12k is suppose to be like pure blue headlights but somehow its pure white when i install them... anyone know why?
Take them back like most people are saying. 12K is the bluest out of them all (not counting the 30K because those have film over it to make it that blue).
