I had remote starts on all my previous car and never had any issues, it's true that some alarm may over crank the starter but on all my previous alarm, I'd never experienced that.

i just bought one of these and had it installed in my 99 ls 400 and basically i have a very expensive keyless entry cause no one can figure out why its not working ... now im not sure if the issue is alarm or the shop who installed it but the remote does look really nice...lol

it does look very nice. a great tech feature. ive been looking for remote starts as well, but was a bit worried about overcranking.
