Xenon AFS headlights or Halogen??!!??
Im new to the forum and a new owner of an 06 IS250 AWD. Its the luxury package and im confused on if I have the Xenon AFS headlights or Halogen... I dont like the output of the factory headlights, they look to "yellowish" and I want to get a 6K output. Before I go buy what I need to, Id like to know what I have and get the direction I need to go about getting a "bulb" or "kit".
Thanks for any help guys!!

can people really not tell just by looking whether or not their car have HIDs? its so obvious...if your head lights look the same as the accord or camry you drive by...you got halogens.

I still can't figure out why people tell everyone "Try to look at the lights" to figure if they have factory HIDs.
It's WAY WAY WAY easier to just check if the car has AFS. Use the multi-selector on the dash and if AFS ON/OFF is an option, it has HIDs. No need to guess at how the lights look.
And Luxury package includes HIDs anyway, so he doesn't even need to do that much.
If it has memory seats, it has HIDS.
if it doesn't have memory seats you'll need to do the AFS check I mentioned above to tell.
To the OP- be aware that factory HIDs are 4300k. This produces the most actual light output. You may prefer the look of 6k bulbs but they'll put out less light.

thanks everyone for your help. I toggled the multi-selector that < on/off > switch right below the light dimmer **** and I did not come across the option for AFS on/off...
kind of surprised that since I have the luxury option almost everyone has told me that I would have the OEM HID's I guess mine does not have HID's than????
