I pass on the Lexon, doesnt appeal to me. the front lip on the Autosalon ISC is nice but I wouldnt want to pay for the sideskirts and the rear. I want the Toms rear. think if it was possible id, piece a kit together.
But if FiveAxis designed the kit, dont they own the right to it?
Yes, Lexus owns the cars, but the kit was made/designed by fiveaxis, not lexus. (unless fiveaxis was contracted out by lexus to design a kit for them ... which might make it theirs )
Five Axis designed some components for these prototype cars, but they are Lexus prototype vehicles. In business, just because you design something doesn't make it yours. It all depends on how the terms of the contract were laid out. In this particular instance, Five Axis was commissioned by Lexus to modify these vehicles for Lexus. That's why the cars (and hence all the components that comprise it) are property of Lexus.
