during the CPO process i believe they repaint the car. so looking just for outside blemishes such as scratches wont really tell you the condition of the car. you would have to look under the hood to really find if the car was abuse or not, and as i mention earlier, some of the abuses are pretty bad

I would expect they would repaint the bumpers if there is enough damage.

But except for that, it's only going to get touch up paint from an $8 bottle.
