I bought the 08 on purpose instead of going for the 09 which they had on the lots when I purchased. I hate the stupid changes they have made to the 09's.
I think the 09-10 tails have more character, and I like the "L" for Lexus backup lights. I think if the LEDs were an option for 2006-2010, Ill guarantee you that most will pick LEDs over standard bulbs just because they are more modern and makes the car different from your basic honda to hyundai's.

All ISX50 and IS F tails are LED minus turn and back-up lights.
I personally dont like the silver "L" either, but at night; f you put the leds in the 09's,they look really good. kinda like a bumblebee or something. haha, will trade you my 08' tails with redouts for your 09's. LMK :-)
