Default Installed new 9005 LED , but flikering????

Hi guys, just yesturday I received my new 9005 LED SMT-18 Bulbs in the mail. After my install today I noticed that its flickering or shaking it seems. I'm a little confuse is this is due to 2 bad bulbs? or bad current?

I know both light are on but PLUSONE you might be right I will check to see if an individual led went out.

MV350 thanks for the link just incase the harness is what I need I will know were to go. Does everyone who replaces their 9005 with LED's require that harness??? I'm just wondering if it’s a must install, therefore a no brainer and purchase it of course.

Did you install these with your DRL? Just wondering how easy/hard it is to install this as I'm experiencing the same flickering issues.

Thx

yes if you don't want flickering with LED DRL, you need the module. And it should be this one below, our car doesn't need the resistor one. You need two modules, one for each side. plug and play, and the module will fit inside the housing. just make sure you don't reverse the polarity when you're connecting the module to the car.

IS-K, the istall was fairly easy I really didnt have to remove anything other than unbolt the windshild washer fluid tube (passanger side) and move it to the side in order to make room to get in.

RAPTOR22- thanks for that link the module is only $10 no prob =) No sure what you mean by reversing the polarity?

With an LED will you still get good light output when you switch to high beam?

just make sure you get two.

in the pic, you see there's two plugs on the module, one connects to the bulb, the other connects to the 9005 plug on the car (and for this one, just make sure positive/negative match up is what i meant, i think it can go in both ways, but when i was installing, on one side there was smoke coming from the module. may be i reversed it, or may be it was totally unrelated and i was doing something funky. So if you see some indication of positive/negative on the plug, just make sure they match up. if not, then just do what makes sense haha i can't remember if there's positive/negative signs on the plug).

yeah from what i read on the forum with what people have tried, the best you can do with halogen bulbs is less amber. you won't get the white color with halogen bulbs running at 50%.
