Default Removed Intake Snorkel w/ Stock Everything

As the title says this morning was installing an HIDExtra kit in my car (great product btw) and when putting everything back on decided to leave the snorkel out. My car is bone stock performance wise has the stock intake with stock filter and everything....

Outcome: sounds beautiful I love it....hard to notice any performance difference of course but most likely will be testing it tonite at the local track to c if I hurted or improved any performance in the car...I know I'm sucking hot air from the engine bay but lets c wats up...for now i lovee how it sounds and will keep it like that if i don't find any hurting in performance....

Great lil mod for those who dont have money for an F-Sports and want the sound...also I will be getting a Joe Z pipe very soon....

you could have just drilled a couple of holes for the same effect while still getting cold air in..

I've done this too and it sounds great and I have the JoeZ intake pipe also. I put the snorkel back in though because I noticed I got better MPG on the MPG meter. Not sure how accurate those are though. I'm sure it was accurate enough to let me know I was getting better fuel economy with the snorkel in.

That MPG meter is actually pretty accurate. I check it periodically and it's usually only off less than 1 MPG.
