Default HELP - Beeping from dash area

I have an 07 IS350 with 15000klms. (~9000 miles) on it. Recentlly after starting and in reverse, backing out of my garage there were three regularly spaced beeps from the dash area. This happened again on a couple occasions. It happened again when driving at about 30 mph. Can't remember if road surface was wet or dry. Very puzzling. Any ideas as to cause and fix.

I am guess it may be the vsc. When ever the vehicle detects no traction it engages it and i think the beeps it cause of that. Did u see the traction light on your dashing blinking when the sound comes?

Thanks. However I do not think this is the cause as very slow speed backing out of a dry garage floor should not trigger VSC.

More help is appreciated.

Don't have parking sensors that I know off. Even if I did, why would beep occur during driving at 30 mph with no vehicle in front or behind?

Keep those thoughts coming...sure could use them. Thanks.

My VCS will beep if I come to a stop on a pitch and roll back a little while still in Drive. This freaks out the car even though everything is under control. Are you on a pitch at all?

Flat garage floor here...no pitch at all. Also as I said, heard this beeping while driving at 30 mph. Thanks for the input. Still puzzled.

Seatbelt warnings are different sounds. Also I never drive without buckling my seatbelt.

My BMW beeps at me when the temp drops below 37 degrees to warn that there could be ice on the road. Does the Lexus do the same? If so, that could be it..

Thanks, not applicable here...temp. was about 50 degrees and IS 350 does not have that feature. Still puzzled.
