So I called up sewell Lexus today to get a price from their online website on a front gfx lip for my starfire pearl 350 so the guy checks and says we don't have anymore starfire pearl front lips and they are discontinued by lexus so they can't get any. So the price is $169 with the club Lexus disscount and so he told me they will take a different color one and paint it for me for $275 freaking dollars just for the paint so it came out to be $450 + with tax and shipping. Don't you guys thinks they should paint it for me for free? What do u guys think an another option would be since I really want the gfx lip. Thanks

i highly doubt any retailer would do that for free. .....but im kinda in the same boat. im looking for the rear lip on Starfire pearl also...cant find em

Why should they paint it for you for free? Lexus discontinued the kit, thats not their fault.
Try asking around your area for local shops that might be able to paint it cheaper.

What makes you think that they should paint it for you for free? And assuming that you're talking about the 06-08 GFX lip, you can wait for one to pop up on the classifieds I guess. Or you can buy one off of ebay and repaint it yourself.

Your expectation on getting free paint is very unreasonable. Get one and paint it yourself if you want it done that cheap.

Yeah, this definitely won't happen. It's not their fault that it's not available in the color you want. As they're discontinued, you're lucky they even have them left.

Free painting? ... That would not make sense. They are a business afterall and not a charity. IT is better to maybe wait on the forums to see if anyone has a new lip they haven't used and don't want it, I think there are a few people who have bought extra lips during the 69$ lip sale.

Sewell painted my TTE lip when i bought it.. It came out great.. I ended up getting it painted again and molded so yea i wasted a little money but the end result is amazing..
