you can call the city that it happened in and get them to pay for it.

Default pot holes

You guys run 30 and 35 aspect ration tires so there is not much tire to absorb the shock and the wheel takes the brunt of it

For all the people here who got their wheels repaired, how did they drive after? My 2008 IS 350 is just a little over 22k miles now (owned it for a little over a year - I'm the original owner). A few days ago I got my summer tires put back on and the place called me to tell me they found a bent rim on one of the fronts. My car's seen some potholes over the winter so I'm not surprised.

They said they could attempt to straighten it at the risk of the rim cracking. I told them to go for it and they said they were ultimately able to straighten it out. I am dealing with some light vibration though. Nothing major but enough to annoy me. Wonder if the rim truly is back to 100%, or could it be something else. planning on taking care to firestone to have alignment done (planning on buying lifetime alignment). Was thinking of having them go through it especially focusing on suspension components. Maybe the rotors as well from what I've read (not sure if that counts as a suspension component)

^ try re balancing your wheels, even if it's fixed the wheel is already messed up, so its not perfectly "round" anymore. You need to re balance it.
