Pics of wheels for those at stock height
#61
Here's mine.. and for reference; before and after FSport springs. Rode on my 19's for a little over a year with stock height. FSport springs make the car look good, but sometimes I wish I was in stock springs riding in comfort..

Thank god for this thread, as lowered cars are just silly. They ride worse, and scrape everything from the ground, to the snow, to their own tires sometimes. Screw that. All for just a look... I don't get it. And those Niche Citrines look better than I thought they would. Wow.

5nX37. Car looks great, any more if a side(ish)? profile to show concavity of rear wheels? I'm shopping for wheels and for the life of me I can not make my mind up. Worried the wheels I choose will not have enough concave.

I was in the same boat. Took me about a month before pulling the trigger. I wanted my rear to be concave and the front more flush. To my surprise, my wheels came out as I wanted. I'm thinking even though they have the same offset, the rear is wider, so more concave? I don't know, I'm not a wheel expert be any means.

I've always liked the targas and those citrines look good as well. Been thinking about the veronas myself. Can't decide on 18" or 19". Worried about ride quality of the 19s and increasing the weight of the wheels .

MPG with 19" wheels (dependent on wheel weight): my MPG has gone down from 25-26 MPG highway to ~23 MPG highway. My aftermarket wheels are heavier than the stock, esp with the bigger tires.
Stock 18" wheel weights (no tire): Front 28.25 lb / Rear 30.00 lbs
Niche Citrine M161 wheel weights (no tire): 19x9.8 Front 31 lb / 19x9.5 Rear 32 lb

That's not a terrible difference. Probably wouldn't tell the difference in weight. Maybe I'll follow your route and go 19" with a 35

When I went from 18s to 19s even though the overall circumstance is smaller the car feels heavier and I have forge wheels. The only thing I can think of is the width of the tires. Fatter tires means more surface contact with road and therefore more friction.

That does make a lot of sense. About the wider tires . I never thought buying wheels would be so stressful. My jeep was easier since the ride quality already stank.
