Default About to purchase an IS, looking for advice and comments

Hey Guys,

Im fairly new to this site, i registered last fall when i was about to purchase a IS250 / 350 but after thinking about bringing home a new IS and scraping the snow off in the harsh winters i waited until spring to purchase the car. Im back now in search for it again.

I live in Milwaukee and we dont have the best winters. i originally wanted a IS250, but after seeing some of the cars on this site im considering the 350.

What i want is 2006-2010 (pending on price) IS250/350 in Crystal white or starfire white only with black leather interior.

i found this car and wanted some feed back on it. the interior is not balck but in STERLING. is that like a light grey?

2007 IS350 Starfire white
Sterling interior with Nav
35k miles
carfax says it was in had a front end damage
i haven't seen the car but for the price they asking if everything looks good i would consider.

they asking $22,998

thanks.
what do you guys think of the car about. any comments?

Looks wise, the 250 and 350 look exactly the same, the only difference is the brakes and the engine size.

Sterling is indeed a grey color interior ... personally, i like black interior

Before you buy, make sure you check out the extent of what the damage was... make sure it wasnt anything major

yeah, im going to the Hyundai dealership this week to look at it. looking at the pictures on their website i see no damages whatsoever. the car fax only says front end damage. i mean it is the color i want, and even though its not black interior at least its not beige....plus at 23,000 i think i can settle with the interior not being all black..

i just dont want to make a mistake here.

Is 35000k miles ok when buying this car? it is a 2007

Yeah the milage is very good. I also have a 2007, and have 38,500 miles right now.

Dont worry, these cars can last a long time I plan on driving mine at least 200,000 miles ...

As for the damage, it may look fine, but you dont know what happened inside. Long as nothing took place and it should be all good If there was severe damage, get it checked my a mechanic

since the car has been damaged and has been reported, does that mean it has a salvage title? if so, i recommend bringing a mechanic to check out the car for you. I personally would stay away from any salvaged car or been in any damaged at all. I just dont think its worth the hassel if it gives u any issues in the future.

The 350 is a very fun car to drive. If everything works out well, then it is one hell of a deal you are getting.

I purchased a 2009 250 and after driving it for a couple months. I kind of regret not getting the 350.. ;[

I had front end damage on my '07. It was more than cosmetic, and it cost $10k to fix, but there was no major damage at all. Just expensive OEM parts. Have someone you trust check it out.

White with black interior FTW!!

I came from a beater '93 4runner so even the 250 seemed like a sports car almost! haha. But yeah, I am jealous when a 350 drives past me...
