is there a way to use the bluetooth for anything besides just using it for the phone? like using it to stream music from my phone (Blackberry tour 9630). thanks
Once you've connected your phone to your car
You need to get to the option where it says BT-A: Bluetooth Audio.
This might be a change in 2010 models- I'd have sworn I've seen previous threads (with pre-10 nav systems) stating there was no A2DP profile on the system (meaning no streaming music)
I wonder if it's possible with a firmware update? I mean the technology is there, but needs to be written...
I own a 06 is250 with Nav and I think that would be an awesome feature to stream AD2P signal and get pandora. For now I use the Aux input which isnt so bad supppose.
this post is more so just for info. In my 2010 IS-C I am able to upload my contacts to Nav via BT, listen to pandora or music on my SD card and control it via steering wheel. I have a mytouch3g

I havent done any update. I paired my phone, under the phone feature you can upload contacts via BT. I'll go test it out again and check the sequence and get back to you.
