Hey Javy, Is there even a Oil temp sensor in the 2IS? What i looked at was the oil temp sensor assembly in the is-f. It seems like it mounted near one of the belts.

I wonder if that part is bolt on to the 2IS.

There is an oil temp sensor in the ISx50, there's just no lead to the instrument cluster.

Can someone post on how to remove the trim ring around the gauge bezel. Particularly the lower portion of it, how to remove the pice below the steering wheel, and then gain access to the bezel.

I think he's referring to your other thread where you were talking about adjusting the speedo / odo ...

Can't you put a clear blue overlay on the needle?

Can we probe into the lead from the oil temp sensor to the PCM?

I'm sure there's a way to do it Tim (and what you mentioned seems to make sense), I just haven't had the time to think it through at all. It's on my "to-do list", because this was one of the biggest reasons I wanted the IS-F instrument panel.

Yeah, figured it'd be something crazy like that... I suspect if I asked the MSRP on those free cookies in the waiting area it'd be $349.95 each.

Do you have to program it to make it work? Or simple plug and play? Did you buy new or used? How about gear display? 6sp Auto to 8sp Auto?
Do you have to adjust speedo?

Thanks in advice!
