Will those wheels fit? START HERE.

OK guys, this thread is designed for you to GO THROUGH and READ to help determine what will and will not work on these cars...its not the magic 8 ball shake it and get an answer thread, best thing you can do to determine what will fit your car safely is to remove either your front or rear wheel and take measurements from the mounting pad to nearest obstuction on the front of the wheel (fender) and rear of the wheel (spring/shock/spindle..) to determine backspacing and clearance...lastly you can search the forum for members that have a setup that you like or close to what you're looking for and have them give you their specs if they're willing...just trying to help you guys who post questions "will this/that fit" and you don't get a response....
There is information in this thread but some of the IS owners can actually tell you if the setup your planning on running will have issues.

[QUOTE=CarbonDtls;6216935]7 posts and your telling us how things are here?
Post count has NOTHING to do with knowledge of how things work on ANY forum or the material in a thread, if you believe that the guy with the highest post count is the most knowledgeable then I STRONGLY advise that don't go modding your car based upon the person who spends more time posting on the internet than actually dealing with the topic that you're interested in...
[QUOTE=javyLSU;5369410]Want to know if your wheels will fit? Will it rub? What's the best offset? What sizes and widths should I buy? Start here.
This thread is the result of merging over 100 threads on the same topic - will these wheels fit on my IS? Feel free to ask any questions you may have on whether your specific wheels will fit on the 2IS, but please search this thread first - as you can see, there's plenty of information here already.
EDIT: For those of you searching or IS250 AWD fitment information, this thread should yield some great information.

This is the first post!!! I'm not into arguing on the internet or going back and forth but it seems as if most people these days don't take time to read through threads to get the information they're in search of, they want to scan through for a quick answer..Another word of advice for those modding, YES the forum is full of GREAT information however, you should always verify and check fitment yourself before purchasing any wheel and tire combination before you get burned.....I SINCERELY APOLOGIZE if I hurt anyone's feelings

35 for an aggresive fitment pushing wheels further to the outside of the fender, you may have to roll the fenders depending on what you carry on your backseat at times and the weight of items in the vehicle along with your rear spring rates/coilover setup, you should be fine though, 40 will tuck in a little, difference between stock and 40 is .118" which would move the wheel in a hair while 35 will let it sit .079" closer to the fender than stock.. Hope this helps, as I said before, make sure to check all clearances when suspension is fully settled...

Your post count had nothing to do with wheel knowledge it had to do with how the forum is ran.
Pretty much 90% of this thread is people asking what will fit because some of the older members have run those setups and can say what will fit.
Next time don't start a reply post that sounds like this!!

^^^^ DROP IT!!! If you can't tell by the post above your's that we are well past this point then I don't know what else to tell ya, I simply reiterated what was stated at the beginning of the thread...how many guys come in the thread asking questions and then get frustrated or discouraged when they don't see a response to their question..just saying... AGAIN, I SINCERELY APOLOGIZE for those whose feelings have been hurt and those who took what I was saying the wrong the way...END OF STORY, MOVE ON AND HAPPY MODDING!!! LET'S GO, Back on topic...

LOL
Those will fit perfectly F 225/35 R 265/35
Your not going to rub at all with those offsets
Serious fender pulling required...but its been done
The rims will work but the tire size in the front is to meaty..you need 225/35...same for the back 255/30
You would be good with a 35 offset in the front and 225/35
The rear tires are good get a 225/35 for the front
You will be fine with the 35 in the rear
Thats a serious stretch but it sounds possible.. Some fender modding definitely required but it will work.
Goodluck fellas
hey guys,
i might pick up the Algernon Intelessee II for my gf
she has a 10' is250 AWD. I was thinking:
front- 18x8 +36
rear- 18x9 +36
What do you think? and whats a good tire size for her? she might give her
car a minor drop, nothing too low (springs). =D Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

OK looking to get a set of 18s in these possible sizes for my rwd. I will be dropped on BCR coilovers and would like to be pretty low, no finger gap but no lower than that and I do not want to roll or do anything to my fenders.
For the fronts its gonna be
18x8 but possible offsets are either 48 or 35
Tires I would like to go either 225/35/18 or 235/35/18
Rear will be 18x9
Offset will be 38
Tires was looking into 265/35/18
I'm not trying to be aggressive but I don't want the factory high offset look
Any advice on offset and tire sizes would be helpful

OK, I've tried searching through this thread as best I can and used the 1010 tires calculator, but want to be sure before I order the wheels.
I plan on going with Foose speed wheels (really like the machined look). 18x8 up front and 18x9.5 in the rear. IS350 lowered on F-sport springs.
I will be running stock tire size 225/40/18 front and 255/40/18 rear.
The lowest offset they have for the front is a 40 (OEM is 45) so that is what I am going with there. My question is in the rear. 1010tires suggests with a 18x9.5 to go with a +37 offset, the problem is the rears only come in +40 or +35.
So, do I go +35 or +40 in the rear? I don't want any rubbing or other junk. Will the +35 rub? Will the +40 look to sunken in relative to the front?

Daily driver. I'm looking for no rub, no fender mods, and maximum tire wear (while eliminating some wheel gap).
I was thinking about BC Coils (maybe adjusted for a 1+ finger gap) + 19x8.5/10 Linea Corse LC818 + tires (maybe 225/35 Front and 255/35 Rear).
Edit: Here are the offsets I see according to the wheeldude website. - +30F, +38Rmm
Thoughts?

What this guy says ^^^^^^^
I have 19x8.5 +30 in the Front and 19x10 +38 in the Rear. They are LC818s too. Car is AWD.
Tires are 235/35/19 and 275/30/19. I have Road magnet springs (~2") Am I going to have problems rubbing?
I can't find anyone with these on their AWD. Please share your knowledge MIA LEX

18x8 +38 offset ssr comps. 18x9 +44 in the rear. Planning to run 265/35/18 and 235/40/18. What would be the best size for comfort yet at times grippy. Keep in mind car is lowered on eibach pro. And rolling is possible. I have access to one. I just want comfort up front and no rubbing. Its my girlfriends ride. So a size chick friendly. However she's a crazy driver.

Also I have the bbs off the ego mr 17x8 +38 all the way around will these clear is350 4 piston calipers. This would be her winter set. 235/45 up front and 245/45 in rear ok? Must be cushy for winter.
