you should have no issues with fender clearance, but you may have rubbing on the wheel well lining.

I'm a super noob, so help me out fellas.

Will this set up work my ride? The car is completely stock.

Front tires: 225/40/18
Rear Tires: 255/40/18
Front wheel: 18x8, 40MM offset
Rear wheel: 18x9.5, 40MM offset

I have toyo proxes t1r tires, and based on toyo website, it says that 255/40/18 size tires are approved for rim width 8.5-9.0-10.0.

with that in mind i'm also wondering, when they said 8.5-9.0-10.0........

does that mean ONLY 8.5, 9.0, and 10.0? Or anything between 8.5-9.0 and 9.0-10.0?

sort of confusing to me, so please tell me what you all think.

THANKS A LOT!!!!!!!!

those wheel/tire specs will work on your 2is, and you should have no problems fitting 255/40-18 onto 18x9.5's.

And rolling is possible. I have access to one. I just want comfort up front and no rubbing. Its my girlfriends ride. So a size chick friendly. However she's a crazy driuver.

Can a Brotha get some help with the tires sizes? Please?

run your stock size front tire. and you could even run stock rear tires. i suggest 225/40 and 255/40 but on eibach's you wont really be low enough to rub tire so youll be fine.

not to cause any ruffling of feathers but ive beat this horse to death.

18x8.5+27 18x9.5+28 will fit no problem with a very very mild stretch on stock fenders. 225/40 and 245/40 will be what most every one is looking for when they do not want to mod their fenders.
this is 18x8.5+27 225/40 18x9.5+30 245/40 just so you can see what its like

What offsets would it be possible to run on a 20x9F and 20x10R with minimal body work. I may be able to roll the fenders but no pull action. I want them to be aggressive but I know it's not going to be lower than a 3X. I have done my research but I want an expertise opinion. And would it be possible to run a 20x10.5 in the rear as well? Thanks in advance..

My plan is to ride 0-1 finger gap on coilovers. I wanted to see if this set would be possible without doing any fender mods.

Front: 19x8.5 +38 225/35/19
Back: 19x10 +43 275/30/19

no prob. if the wheel your looking for isnt offered in exact offsets. edge on the side of caution and pick the offsets 3-5mm higher than what i posted.

That's great info !!
I'll keep that if i go with 20's...

What do you suggest for 19's?
19x9 19x10
Flush.. no fender pull.. but will be shaving/rolling fender...

+25 all around will look great, but requires 215/35 and 235/35 or 255/30. also depends on how low you go, i drove tucking 19x9.5+15 in the rear fender with only shaving the fender. which is about 4mm more aggressive than what i just suggested for you. the rim sat perfectly flush when i had the car higher.
This setup was 19x8.5/9.5+15 tucking almost all of the tire
