thatll fit with a 225/35 without modding your fenders. 225/40 will rub on the liner slighty

Aight, thanks Mv350.

I went to a tire shop here in town this past monday to get my tires n rims installed n they said "Your front rims r too wide for the front(18x9 +30) its hitting the control arms." They prob didnt wanna be responsible if something happened or something, idk.

But you guys say they will fit. I'll just take the rims n tires to get them mounted n balanced n I'll just install it when I get home.

they will fit. if that would hit so would half the people on this forum. plus the upper control arm moves with the suspension. so they are too scurred to do it.

(bolded for emphasis)

that statement is not true.

the backspacing (mounting face to inside edge of wheel) for your proposed wheel specs is within fractions of the oem backspacing. you will have no inside clearance issues.

on a related note, that statement should tell you that said tire shop is not competent enough to handle installation of aftermarket wheels/tires.

I just order a set of wheels in the following size:

19x9 +35
19x10 +35

Was hoping someone can give me advice on some tires. I will be lowered on coilovers. Hoping to go with no finger gap. Really want avoid any fender mods. I was thinking on of the following tire sizes:

235/35
255/35
Or
225/35
245/35

Which would work best or should I consider some other sizes?

Thanks for the help

i want to say 225/35 and 255/35, but the "really want to avoid any fender mods" + "hoping to go with no finger gap" makes me wonder if you won't rub with those tire sizes.

on the other hand, are you adventurous enough to try and "stretch" 215/35 and 235/35 onto those wheels to avoid fender mods?

Don't think I am adventurous to stretch that much. If I went with 235/35 and 255/35, what fendor mods would be needed?

at least roll/shave the fenders and shave/trim the fender/bumper tabs.

Ok I've decided on the wheels I will pick up. Offsets changed.

19" 8.5 ET38 Front / 9.5 ET40 Rear

I have Megan EZ coils, and would like to drop the car to where I have no visible gap between the fender and the tires, maybe just tuck the top of the tire. I'd prefer to make no fender mods.

Suggested tire sizes?

You wont need to roll or shave or do any fender modifications. Id actually got with a 225/35, or if you want the stretch look, go with a 215 and a 245
(bolded for emphasis)

since the offsets of your proposed wheels are within a few millimeters of his wheel specs...

if it worked for him, it should work for you as well.

hey guys (girls),

I'm new to this forum and a new (used) is250 owner (day to day car, 370z on the weekends). So I'm sorry If my reply is not supposed to be here, I'm still getting used to it. I plan on getting for my 2006 is250 RWD

19" x 9.5 rear bbs lm replicas with 265/35
19" x (I'm not quite sure width gotta see again) Front with 235/35.

I'll have the stock springs. I was wondering if Anyone has had any issue with rubbing especially for the front with 235s, and if this width would exceed the wheel well of the is250.

I'll keep searching this forum, but I figured I might as well ask. Thanks in advance, you guys are doing an awesome job!

225/35 front 255/35 rear. you wont have to mod your fenders.

now the tires you listed will fit but the front will rub when you lower it
