Would I need to have any fender work done if I threw some 15mm spacers on my stock rear wheels wrapped in 275/40/18? Any rubbing issues? Thinking about it as a temporary set up

yes, ride height and wheel gap are directly related, but that wasn't what I was getting at. but instead of feeding this discussion, I'm just going to pretend that you actually read and understood my earlier post... and move on.
btw, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I wasnt planning on it. I just asked what tire size he suggest. I was thinking along the lines of 275/30 in the rear, and 225 or 235/30 in the front. I just didnt know with that particular offset would work at all and or with those tire sizes. Im not lowered on anything yet, just trying to get a few things at a time.

hi everyone.
I want to get enkei pf01 18x9 +45 but sites ive been on say they dont fit.
I have an 08 is250awd. i dont want any rubbing, i dont plan on lowering and i have stock suspension. I test fitted the wheels on the front and it just clears the steering column. Im also wondering what tires are recommended for these wheels, i dont want any stretching. Minimal stretching is alright.
Thanks!!

sup guys, posted this on another sections and got one response lol hoping for more...
car: is250
suspension: tein s-tech natural camber
wheels: Maya stm
front: 20x9 + approx 15-19
tires: 225/35/20 in the front (rub like crazy and cut the hell out of my liner and rolled fenders...)
rear:20x10.5 + approx 15-19
tires:245/35/20 (rub were the rear bumper and wheel-well meet. rolled and slight stretch)
wanted to know if going with a 30 series tire (225/30/20) will fix the rubbing or will they forever rub no matter what because it wasent ment to be??
check out the pics and see if they help. thanks

given those widths, those offsets are aggressive enough to need fender work on all four corners: full-on roll + slight pull + shaved fender tabs.
you won't eliminate all of the rubbing, but at least the shorter tires + additional fender work should save your fenders and tires from each other.

235/40-18 should be fine.

worst case scenario, run 5mm spacers. your proposed offsets are conservative enough that you can run spacers and still have lots (and i mean lots) of clearance.
