I'm sure this question has been asked but I can't seem to find answer quickly when searching.

will the Lexus 18" G-spider wheels from an IS350 (staggered) fit on a GS RWD? AWD? or there are only specific years that it will fit?

i have a set of near new 18" G-spider wheels coming off of my is350 and have gotten inquiry asking about whether they fit on the GS models.. i thought i had ask here for clarifications.

Thanks in advance

How many inches can I drop my car before I need a fender roll on 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 +22 all around. My fender guy is on vacation and this 4x4 look is driving me insane =/.

assuming you're running 225/40-18 and 255/40-18 on your 18" g-spiders, the 18" g-spider wheel that you have should fit the GS RWD just fine, though there is a chance that it might give the AWD variant of the GS some issues.

of course, that's my assumption, which may differ from what you're actually running...

then one of two things can happen:

1. you wait for your fender guy to come back from vacation, work his magic, lower your 2is, have pimpin' parking lot stance, and live happily ever after...

or...

2. you get impatient, lower your 2is w/out fender mods, drive around, and if you're lucky you'll just have the tires rubbing against the fenders but cause little to no damage. if you're unlucky, you'll have the worst case scenario: the tires not only do damage to the fenders but also commit suicide by shredding themselves against the fender edges, leaving the fenders in need of body work and the tires in need of replacement.

the fine line between the two is to find out the absolute maximum suspension compression and dial your ride height a half-inch up front and a quarter-inch in the rear above that to prevent scenarion #2.

but by that time, you might as well just have waited for your fender guy to come back from vacay.

with a tad more camber and a tad more low itll fit perfect with a little bit of poke, this only requires rolling your fenders. run a 225/35 front and a 235/35 or 265/30 in the rear.
thanks MV350

Looking to buy some new kicks for my car for Christmas!

I drive an 07 IS350, dropped on BCRacing coils. No finger gap in the rear, and about half a pinky gap in the front.

Wheel Specs:
19x9.5 +30, 5x114.3, 73.1 for the front.
19x10.5 +22 5x114.3, 73.1 for the rears.

Tire Specs:
235/35/19 for the fronts.
275/35/19 for the rears.

Will these fit/what fender mods are necessary? :P

Thanks!

front tires will fit fine; rear tires will not. you may have to go 275/30-29 or 265/35-19 for clearance.

rolled fenders in the front, rolled fenders + slight pull + shaved fender tabs in the rear.

Hmm, I see. What about:

19x8.5 +35 235/35-19 Fronts
19x9.5 +33 275/35-19 Rears

Thanks again! :]

you'll still need fender modifications, but they won't be as full-on as your previously-suggested wheel/tire specs.

not sure why you're suggesting running 275/35-19 in the rear. it's too tall, so your sidewalls will be more upright, and (chances are) you'll be more than 3% out of oem rolling diameter - which may affect not only the speedometer/odometer but also traction control.

Alright, been reading... Will regular rolled fenders without a pull fit 19x9.5 +22 and 19x10.5 +22?
i'm gonna be dumped on BC when I get my car. 225/35/19 and 245/45/19? Or can I run a 265 in the back?

on a 19x8.5 +33 in the front. dropped to finger or less gap, what happens if i try and run a 245/30/19? im trying to decide between that or 225/35/19. also anyone know if yokohamas besides the ad07 and ad08 run wide as well?

you're going to be hard-pressed to make that work at your proposed ride height with only rolled fenders (no pull), but more often than not the action of rolling your fenders will slightly pull the fenders (not noticeable enough without comparison).

i doubt you can run a 265 in the rear without clearance issues; maybe 255.

w/ 245/30-19 on a 19x8.5 +33, you might run into clearance issues when the suspension is fully compressed. the sidewalls on a 245 are more upright than 225 on a 8.5"-wide wheel, and when those outer shoulders meet the fender tab (not "if", because it's bound to happen), something has to give, and you may not like the results.

Well, I'm just trying to stay away from pulling it where it's noticeably ruining the "stock" look. And I dislike running tire sizes smaller than stock sizing. I've seen some horrible looking pulls as well. I'm confused about more of the front's issue because being it's a 9.5" width, will turning be an issue?
